Marine Disease Centre, Plymouth

The Diving Diseases Research Centre (DDRC), is a charity which aims to promote and take part in the medical treatment, training and research associated with the use of hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of diving diseases and other medical problems.

RSA have undertaken a study to evaluate the expansion options available to the charity as an extension to the existing facility and also to re-organise and rationalise the internal accommodation layouts.

A low energy, office proposal was developed which offered the DDRC scope to sub-let office space to other medical organisations and allow its own incremental growth.
