RSA were commisioned by the Devon Quaker Group in Summer 2011 to develop proposals to refurbish a historic redundant property previously used by the Plymouth Brethren into a community based meeting hall.
Planning approval was granted in June 2012 to refurbish the building into a sustainable, accessible and welcoming facility for the local Quaker group and other community groups.
The design incorporates a new lift, stair and meeting facilities including a children's creche. The project is used by local tradesmen.
The project was completed on time and on budget.
